2015 Mint Set

The Royal Australian Mint celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015, marking half a century of excellence in coin production. Established in 1965, the Mint produces Australia’s circulating and commemorative coins with precision and pride. This set is highlighted by the 50 cent coindesign, by Aleksandra Stokic, features many of the dodecagon (twelve-sided) shapes of the 50-cent coin arranged into a larger honeycomb pattern. This symbolises the “industrious hive” of the Mint’s employees.
