2005 Mint Set

Marking 60 years since the end of WWII, and only the 2^nd Australian Mint Set to comprise three commemoratives, the 2005 Mint Set is a key issue in the Royal Australian Mint’s long-running 1966-2026 Mint Set Series.

The Homecoming 20c

Symbolising the joy and relief of those welcoming back their men, the Homecoming 20c was inspired by a photo taken July 29, 1945 of an ex-POW returning to his family.
